Business Travel Requirements for a Indonesia Visa for Canadian Citizens

1. Eligibility and Documentation

   The Government of Indonesia utilises an electronic visa issuance system which is the equivalent to a visa, but no stamp or label is placed in the passport.

   To be eligible the traveller must:

   • Hold a passport valid at least six months on entry with one blank visa page
   • Hold proof of sufficient funds
   • Hold proof of onward/return flights
   • Hold proof of hotel reservation
   • Hold all documents required for the next destination

2. Visa On Arrival

   A visa on arrival facility is available at this destination. The traveller must:

   • Arrive at one of the ports listed here
   • Hold a passport valid at least six months on entry with one blank visa page
   • Pay a fee of Rp. 500.000 upon arrival
   • Hold proof of onward/return flights
   • Confirm with their airline that boarding will be permitted without a visa

3. Important Information

   This visa type is the Indonesian B1 visa and is for those travelling to Indonesia to:
   • Attend meetings/conventions/exhibitions
   • Negotiate/sign business agreements
   • Conduct field observations of offices, factories, places to produce goods, places to be invested, and or mining facilities

4. Duration of Stay

   This single entry visa is valid for 90 days from date of issue and allows for a stay of up to 30 days.
